Sue Doucette, watercolorist

Surrounded by artists, growing up on Cape Cod helped to lay Sue Doucette's foundation in the arts. Gallery tours were commonplace and Sue was inspired to begin drawing at an early age.

Composition is as important to Sue as color harmony and each of her paintings has soft luminous appeal. Special attention is paid to detail as well as patterns of light and shadow.

Presently living in Florida, Sue has two grown sons, lovely daughters-in-law and four cherrished grandchildren.
